The New England Patriots failed in their bid to achieve a “perfect” 19-0 season. Like most of us here in Indiana, at least for Colts fans, I cheered the underdog Giants as they ruined the so-called perfect season.
Taking Back Christmas
Posted November 21st, 2007 by DavidSome things you never forget; an angel would be one of those things. The angel said she was going to have a son and as inconceivable as it was, here he was. As she pondered all that had happened she still had a hard time believing it. Miraculous? Yes! Improbable? That too. She was the most improbable of mothers. Here he was, her son, God’s son, sleeping in the manger with Joseph looking on. Everything seemed right in heaven…and the world seemed to be smiling with joy.
Bringing God Joy

There was a short paragraph that was written by a youth describing a worship service that she had participated in a few days before. She described the service by saying, “I think God had a good time that night.”
Fall is Fine!
Posted September 20th, 2007 by DavidI simply love the fall. I love watching the leaves change from the green I’ve seen all summer to brilliant colors of red, yellow, gold and brown. I love the cooler weather. I love the anticipation of Thanksgiving and Christmas (one can never prepare too early!). I also love watching football and spending time outside before the coldness and snow of November come (I just had to say that).
